The adidas Single Mouth Guard is a boil and bite guard for the upper teeth, made in junior and senior sizes. You soften it in hot water, bite down once, and it holds the shape of your own teeth.

Single means it covers the upper arch and leaves the lower jaw free. It comes in clear only, and a hinged adidas case is included, so the guard has somewhere to go between sessions rather than the bottom of a kit bag.

How to fit it

  1. Heat water until it is hot but off the boil, then submerge the guard for the time given on the packaging.
  2. Lift it out, cool it briefly so it will not burn you, and seat it centrally over your top teeth.
  3. Bite down and press it against your teeth and gums with your fingers, working from the back forward.
  4. Hold the bite, then transfer the guard to cold water to set the shape.
