The adidas Contestant Pro is a slip-on taekwondo shoe for mat training. A nylon buckle at the back of the ankle holds it in place, and with no laces there is nothing to retie during sparring.

The thin, flexible one-piece rubber sole keeps your foot close to the mat for pivots and spinning kicks. The synthetic upper is light, and ventilation holes along each side let heat out over a long class. Each pair is made in South Korea.
