The entry level adidas sauna suit: a full zip jacket and matching pants in a waterproof, anti rip polyester shell. It is a heat retaining training suit. The shell traps body heat, and elastic cuffs at the wrists and ankles plus an elastic waistband seal it in, so you warm up faster and sweat harder through roadwork, pad rounds, and circuits.

What a sauna suit does, and what it does not do

A sauna suit makes you sweat more by slowing the way your body sheds heat. The weight you see on the scale afterward is water, and it comes back as soon as you drink. It is not fat, and the suit does not burn fat on its own. Use it to warm up, to add intensity to conditioning, and to train in the cold, then rehydrate.

Train safely. Vapor impermeable suits are banned for making weight in NCAA and NFHS wrestling, because rapid dehydration is dangerous. Do not use this suit to cut weight for a weigh in. Drink water before, during, and after, and stop if you feel dizzy or weak, or if you stop sweating.
